A distinguished figure in African business, Tryphosa has held senior executive roles at National Treasury, WIPHOLD, and South African Airways, and served as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at PPC Ltd, where she led the company’s major expansion across Zimbabwe, Botswana, the DRC, Ethiopia, and Rwanda. Her strategic foresight and financial stewardship safeguarded PPC’s growth trajectory and market capitalisation during this period of bold continental expansion.
Currently an independent consultant and Board Member for the IWFSA and the Solidarity Fund, Tryphosa continues to shape policy and corporate strategy at the highest levels. She is a former President of the Association of Black Securities and Investment Professionals (ABSIP) and Chairperson of the Black Business Council, with board experience spanning ACSA, DBSA, SAA, Sasria, Adcorp, Land Bank, and the African Union Board of Auditors.
