Liopelo Maphathe is a Lesotho-born actress, television presenter, MC, moderator, producer, voice-over artist, and dedicated philanthropist who has been a prominent figure in the South African entertainment industry since the early 2000s. She holds a degree in Performing Arts from the University of the Free State.
Liopelo achieved her breakout role as Luyanda on the hit soapie *Backstage*. Her extensive acting portfolio includes leading roles in popular television series such as Netflix's *Kings of Jo'burg*, *Durban Gen*, *Gomora*, *Nikiwe*, *Muvhango*, *Rhythm City*, and *Nna Sajene Kokobela*. In addition, she has hosted lifestyle and musical shows such as *AfroCafe*.
Beyond her artistic work, Liopelo is deeply passionate about social advocacy and youth development. She hosts the impactful show *Madi-Aka* on Moja Love, which advocates for children caught in the middle of parental conflict or difficult divorces, helping families heal and build healthier relationships.
