Meet Thembinkosi Pantsi
Thembinkosi Pantsi is the dedicated, passionate and enthusiastic Dealer Principal for Audi Centre Fourways.
In 2000 he went to study Mechanical Engineering in Port Elizabeth, however he dropped out of Varsity in 2001 and went to work in a restaurant in Knysna, where he started as a cleaner, cleaning toilets and washing dishes in the Restaurant. Sooner than later he was moved to become a barman then waiter. It was from this restaurant that Thembinkosi learnt basic business principles and formed network with restaurant customers. In 2003, he joined Liberty Life as the Broker Consultant and became one of the youngest employee in the Group Nationally at tender age of 22, where he learned more about business, professional working environment and learning more about money and Investment. This is where Business Management and thought Leadership bug hit him.
In August 2015, Thembinkosi Pantsi was appointed as Exco Member for Sewells-MSX International Group Sub-Saharan Africa which is a Global Organisation specialising in Automotive Development Agency
In 2017 he joined Marble Gold Group as an Executive and head up the Audi Centre Polokwane Dealership. In a short space of time, he led the business to significant improvement of +/- 31% and get the business on track in achieving is PBT objective and sustainment of the business in the Limpopo Province. With thought leadership, focus and hardwork he managed to steer the business to profitability. Thembinkosi is currently studying Bachelor of Business Management from University Of South Africa and having completed the Diploma in Business Administration from Management College Of Southern Africa.
Milestones & Achievements
- 2007 and 2009 he was promoted from being a Sales Executive to Assistant Sales Manager
- 2010 he was promoted to New Car Sales Manager for Volvo Cars
- 2010 he was promoted to become Brand Manager for Volvo Cars
- 2012 at the age of 31 he became a Dealer Principal heading up a car dealership in Pretoria with a turnover of about 160 Million rand per annum. In the space of 2 years, the business turnover grew by about 37% in turnover (+/-220 Million p.a). His duties include but not limited to running day-to-day of the operation. Managing Financial Performance of the dealership as well as Operation Management of the organisation with 5 department heads reporting to him
