Olwethu Leshabane

Prominent South African media entrepreneur and TV personality

Meet Olwethu Leshabane

Olwethu Leshabane is the founder and CEO of Art of Superwoman; a lifestyle-curated digital platform that consists of an e-commerce shop, blogs and content that filters to her podcast; The Sit Down. The podcast discusses issues affecting modern women & moms, from parenting, career, wellness, finances, and relationships. Olwethu is also a mom, wife, author, doula, blogger, style enthusiast and television personality, proving that women can and should do it all. This ideology is inspired by her sheroes Khanyi Dhlomo, Basetsana Kumalo, Carol Bouwer, Judy Nxasana and Beyonce.

As a digital entrepreneur, her work is centred on empowering women to always strive to be the most excellent versions of themselves and lifting one another up along the way. In 2019, Glamour magazine named Olwethu and her husband Neo De Jenero one of their power couples of 2019. This power is what fuels her vodcast She is Driven, a platform that celebrates women of excellence in male-dominated industries.

Her mission to change the lives of black women continues with her NGO The Red Wings Project, an initiative aimed at addressing sanitary product issues. Her accolades for 2022/23 thus far include being part of Advertising Week New York and a speaker at the very first Advertising Week Africa.
