MEET Hulisani Ravele
Seasoned TV Host and Radio Presenter, Hulisani Ravele, has been in the entertainment industry for more than two decades.
Ravele’s career began in the late 90s and her rise to fame was cemented on the popular kids programme, YoTV. Hulisani successfully made the transition from kids television to mainstream media and is growing as a formidable host in various television formats.
Adored by her fans for always embracing her TshiVenda heritage, her freckles, her vibrant and positive outlook on life, Hulisani Ravele has captured the hearts of millions. The secret to her longevity has been her innate ability remain grounded and authentic.

2019 TO PRESENT - 947
Joined 947, one of the country’s biggest commercial radio stations, as host of the Weekend Breakfast, Saturdays & Sundays, 7 – 10am.
2017 - CAPRICORN FM
Joined Capricorn FM to host ‘The Saturday Flex’, Saturdays 2 – 6pm. During her 2 years with MSG Afrika, she also got to flex her talk radio muscle as a stand-in at Capricorn’s sister station, POWER 987.
2016 - I AM SOUTH AFRICAN
Alongside Maps Maponyane, she returned to host Season 3 of the show which led up to the 3rd ANN7 South African of The Year awards.
2014 - ANN7
She hosted a daily live talk show titled ‘I Am South African’. She interviewed nominees from all walks of life in the lead up to the Inaugural ANN7 South African of The Year awards.
2013 - UJFM
After years of being a contributor on other shows, she clinched her first solo radio show; a Saturday midmorning show on UJFM.
2011 - Vodacom Millionaires
After a hiatus, she returned to TV screens on
Vodacom Millionaires, which later became The Vodacom Show.
2008 - Left YoTV
After 8 incredible years, which included being a part of the iconic ‘Wildroom’, she said goodbye to YoTV.
2000 - YoTV
She joined the League of Extraordinary Kids’ Presenters on YoTV.
1997 - Pula & Friends
She made her debut on television as ‘Sabrina’ on a kiddies show called Pula & Friends.
