Meet Bujy Bikwa
Sthembinkosi Junior Bikwa, affectionately known as ‘Bujy Bikwa’ is the world’s greatest super-sized entertainer. The Zimbabwean born, and Orange Farm raised two time SAFTA award nominated entertainer has spent the better part of his career in the industry as an actor, TV host, MC, radio presenter and content producer.
10 years in the entertainment industry, he has honed his talent as a trusted MC throughout the country. Being trusted by various brands such as Love Life; Vodacom; Dark n’ Lovely, local and provincial municipalities around the country and this his journey as a multi talented entertainer.
Bujy’s first break as an entertainer started at the age of 21 years in the world of radio as Content producer for the widely adored YFM Afternoon Drive-time show called Dineo live on Drive in the year 2009 which lead him to be the co host of the show until 2012. Then went to be assistant content producer for 94.7 HighVeld FM [Duration of three months] then moved to TV.
Bujy has worked with big brands as an influencer and they use him cause of his organic reach and his able to communicate authentically with his audience. Bujy carefully selects his brand association, it must speak life, health, liberation, fashion, have good energy and financially savvy. He has worked with the following brands:
- MNET’s SURVIVOR SA and One Night with my EX
- Nandos’s (BOUJEE BOWL ACTIVATION) This one trended in South Africa and boosted Nandos sales on the Boujee Bowl which turned into Bujy having a tour with Nandos at their stores.
- FLYING FISH Chillas VS Vannilas a fashion social media fashion activation for flying fish.
Bujy also volunteers for the department of Sports Arts and Recration as a youth camp facilitatotor. Also works with Reach for a dream on the slipper day foundation which help raise fund for kids with life threatening illnesses. LGBTQI activist as he continues to engage in conversations that liberates individuals and promotes humanity.
Bujy’s talents don’t end here. Bujy owns a growing production company called BigWay Productions, for which his a founder and owner. Bujy has effortlessly written and produced 3 movies starting in 2017 with Jealous Makhelwane followed by 2018 Pastor Bae and 2019 Taxi Queens which were commissioned for Mzansi Magic Bioskop. These movies have reached a target of 10 out 10 with audiences.
