MEET Queen Ramotsehoa
Her coaching experience focusses on Leadership both in one-on-one sessions and with groups who want to use a coaching approach to lead and manage.
Queen has been a coach and mentor for the past 18 years, since her first leadership position, in 1992. She qualified as a workplace coach and mentor in 2004 and as a Consciousness Coach in October 2006. She coaches leaders to build their own personal capacity, and to know how to build other people’s. The greatest value-add in her approach is ensuring that by the end of the coaching agreement, she has transferred skills to enable a leader to self-coach, and to coach others. This commitment is aligned to the ICF code of Conduct, where coaching starts and stops, and does not make people depended on her permanently. Queen is effective at all levels in an organisation from C suite to shop floor.
She has a good grasp of what makes both business and people function optimally. Companies that she has worked with include Rio Tinto, Barloworld Equipment, PPC, Shell, Transnet, ABSIP (Association of Securities and Investment Professionals), AWCA (Association of Women Charted Accountants),ASPEN Pharmaceuticals, KPMG, Standard Bank, Nedbank, Oracle, Multichoice, SAB and Netcare. Queen also work with Graduates who are in Graduate/Internship programmes to support them to internalise the powerful tools of self-coaching, self-management and self-leadership at a young age. Queen has partnered with Oracle to support a High School, Ponelopele in Olifantfontein, where the objective is to build a strong ethos for the school and the community.
