Meet Monde Ndlovu

Monde Ndlovu is the Managing Director of the Black Management Forum (BMF), a professional organisation that has been at the forefront of management development and transformation in South Africa. He is a former Consultant at Outlier Leadership formerly known as African Leadership Development, a Boutique Consulting Firm in Johannesburg which specialises in organisational, strategy, and leadership development. He is the first and former Head of Thought-leadership at the BMF. He has served on two Board Committees of the BMF before, the National Events Committee and the Editorial Committee. He also served on the BMF Policy and Research Exco Committee, as the Deputy Chairperson, influencing the policy thinking.

He is also a Board Trustee of the Maduke Lot Ndlovu Legacy Trust, a Trust formed by the Black Management Forum to preserve the legacy of Lot Ndlovu. He serves as a Non-executive Board member of the PGA of South Africa, and Chairs the Transformation Committee. He has played a critical role in formulating the transformation strategy of the PGA and how it can impact the wider industry. He is also a member of Directors Association and part of two Advisory Boards- namely, Bolwa Security Services and ICABA World Network.

He is also the Chairperson of the Henley Business School Johannesburg Alumni Chapter. He is also part of V20 South Africa, co-leading the equality stream. V20 is driving a values centered society and how specific values can be entrenched in South Africa and globally.

Monde remains an opinion maker in society, he occasionally contributes articles on leadership, transformation and the economy which are published on influential platforms such as Primedia’s Eye Witness News and 702. He has also featured on other influential platforms including print, online, radio, and TV. He was also chosen amongst young people on the African Continent to contribute content to a publication called The Africa 80. He has also been awarded for the global 100 leading black professionals 2024 by ICABA World Network.

Monde is a UNISA and Henley Business School Alumni, and some of his thoughts and insights are used by Henley Business School in some of the classes. He holds a BBA degree from UNISA, a post graduate diploma in Management Practice from Henley Business School (SA), and a Master’s in Business Administration from Henley Business School-University of Reading (UK). He is also a certified professional director with the Directors Association. He also holds the designation of a transformation director with the Black Management Forum. Monde remains passionate about leadership development, economic transformation and social justice in South Africa.
