Meet Eric Mafuna

Eric Mafuna studied in South Africa and the United States earning for himself a BA in Sociology and Psychology and an Honors degree in Sociology and well as a Marketing Management Diploma. Since this time, Eric has been involved in social and economic projects, as well as communications and marketing including management research for a wide range of sectors including automotive, food and beverage, financial and commercial services, household and toiletry goods, medical and scientific, news and media as well as radio and television. His experiences and established contacts have led him as far a field as Australia, United Kingdom and the United States of America as well as neighbouring Countries, such as Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique, Madagascar and Kenya. Eric Mafuna is currently a Senior Specialist Consultant and part of the Executive Management Team for The African Leadership Group.

He is responsible for the strategic research and organisational development assignments of the company. His strengths lie in organisational transformation, product branding and development as well as communications. Eric is widely known for his involvement in the formation of black development and professional organisations and has close connections to the Black Management Forum and the National Black Business Caucus. He also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of major local companies: Pivot, WWF and Ceramic Industries. While Eric is not involved in the day-to-day activities of the organisation, Eric does take an active interest in Wisdom Keys Group and is available to the group in terms of high level lobbying and strategic counsel for clients.
