He has extensive International work experience which includes doing projects and assignments in Europe, the USA, Australia, Singapore, Latin America, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, Mocambique, Botswana and Zambia
These Include:
An RSA government commissioned research of Australian Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services Management in 1994. This study took him to West Australia and New South Wales.
He also worked with the Washington DC, USA based organization, Prison Fellowship International, in the field of Criminal Justice Reforms, Restorative Justice and the Management Consultancy.
International Recognition
1. In 2000, the US Fund for Leadership Development listed him 5th in a compilation of 40 of the World’s “Most Extraordinary Leaders”.
2. In September 2001, The National Assembly (Parliament) of the Republic of South Africa adopted an unanimous Resolution in recognition of the work his organization, Prison Fellowship, was doing nationally under his Executive Directorship, and internationally in partnership with Prison Fellowship International.
3. In September 2001, the Latvian Government (East Europe), gave him their highest Justice Award for his contribution towards Criminal Justice Initiatives and Programmes in their country
