MEET Shampoonaiza

Shampoonaiza is the only comedian sports presenter in the country. Giving people a new and hilarious spin on sporting analysis. Shampoonaiza first started doing stand up comedy after he was one of the top six finalists on the second season of the comedy reality show “So You Think You’re Funny”. Tips has been involved in several comedy festivals including: Tshwane Comedy Festival, The Kings of Comedy and Blacks Only Comedy Festival. Once a week Shampoo does shows around Tshwane, Johannesburg or Rustenberg as a comedian or mc to raise money for needy kids by sharing his comedy together with his other artistic skills and talents.

You can see Shampoonaiza every Wednesday on SABC’s sports show “Sports at 10”. At the beginning and end of every show Shampoonaiza is asked to analyse the weeks sporting news. Shampoonaiza makes it his own by taking the important information and delivering it in the funniest and wittiest way imaginable. This is a perfect way to showcase his raw improvisation ability as the show is live and games may be happening just before the show, therefore there is no time for Shampoonaiza to prep. Shampoonaiza makes sporting analysis interesting and entertaining for sports fans all over the country.
