Currently an Anchor for SABC’s Channel Africa, Peter’s broadcasting journey has taken him from Zimbabwe to South Africa and the United Kingdom, where he worked with the BBC in London, specialising in Pan African news and current affairs. His experience has equipped him with a deep understanding of geopolitics, leadership communication, and media diplomacy — making him a compelling speaker and moderator on global affairs, media strategy, and African development narratives.

Born in Zimbabwe and raised in England, Peter returned to Harare as a teenager to complete his education. Trained as an accountant, his career took an unexpected yet defining turn when he left the corporate world to pursue broadcasting. His natural charisma and mastery of voice quickly earned him roles at ZBC Radio One, M Net, and later Radio Highveld and SAfm, where he became known for his signature warmth and credibility on air.

Beyond the newsroom, Peter is a seasoned Master of Ceremonies, Moderator, and Media Trainer, commanding audiences with poise and insight. He has hosted some of Africa’s most prestigious business, policy, and leadership events, facilitating dialogue that bridges cultures, industries, and ideas. As the founder of his own production company, he continues to contribute to the growth of Africa’s media landscape through content creation and talent development.
